DRASHAR
Age of Steel and Spells
Drashar: Age of Steel and Spells is a gray fantasy roleplaying game of hard choices, divine oppression, and dangerous magic. Built on the 2dX Engine, players roll two dice, Destiny and Doom, representing conflicting forces that can influence the narrative. Tactical combat, a wound-based health system, and a corruption mechanic rooted in moral choice set Drashar apart from traditional fantasy RPGs. Action Points drive tactical decision-making, while spellcasting balances power against risk. Designed for players who want murky worlds, high stakes, and no easy answers, Drashar delivers a unique experience where the line between hero and villain is not always clear.

The World of Drashar
In the world of Drashar, the Dragon Gods slumber. For them, this is the Age of Dreams. The Age of Quarrel, the Age of Anguish, and the Age of Renewal are long past. Their power once shaped the world, their will enforced through the divine law of the Church Draconis and the Dragon Lords they worship. But now the gods sleep, and their dreams drift through the fabric of reality, reshaping it in ways few mortals can predict.
As they dream, the corruption of Oax the Destroyer Father stirs in the dark places of the world.
As they dream, arcane magic, outlawed by divine decree, spreads into mortal hands.
As they dream, nations fracture, and rebels rise in defiance of gods.
In Drashar, you play a Supernal, a mortal marked by power once reserved for divinity. You might wield ancient sorcery, lead rebellions, devote yourself to the gods, master your physical potential, or manipulate the levers of power through will and wit. Whatever your path, you are not like the others. You are someone who can shape the fate of a world unraveling.
But shaping the world comes with consequences. This is a realm of moral uncertainty, where right and wrong are not always clear and decisions carry weight. You may save a village and doom a nation. You may defy a god and lose your soul. In Drashar, the most dangerous battles are often the ones fought within.

Using the 2dX Engine’s approachable point-buy character creation process, you can build a truly customized character by picking from numerous ancestries, backgrounds, advantages, disadvantages, and powers, giving you near infinite combinations, allowing you to build a unique character you want to play. Character advancement is the same, allowing you to make meaningful advancement choices that will allow you to develop and adapt your character as you see fit.
Mechanics in the 2dX Engine uses 2d10 much in the same way that many other popular systems use a d20, making learning the system easy for new and experienced players alike. The 2d10 is made up of one “Destiny Die” and one “Doom Die,” whose results provide both narrative and mechanical influence, helping to build rich and interesting stories each time the dice are rolled.
Abundant optional rules allow gamemasters to customize the mechanics to fit the theme of the story that the group hopes to tell, such as allowing combat to be anything from a gritty, blood-soaked massacre to a heroic pulp-style skirmish.
